The Housing (Scotland) Act 2014 requires social landlords to consult with the following stakeholders when they review their Allocation Policy:
• Applicants on their housing list
• Their tenants
• Registered Tenant Organisations, and
• Such other persons as landlords see fit.

The Act also requires landlords to prepare and publish a report on the outcome of the consultation and review of the Allocation Policy.

This report outlines the consultation and review process Barrhead Housing Association undertook to review our Allocation Policy during 2019. The report can be found here.

The Governing Board have now approved our new Allocation Policy which can be found in our download section.
