New housing management system now live

This week we went live with a new housing management system called HomeMaster.  

Our housing management system is our critical piece of software. It’s where we securely record information about our customers, properties and finances. It’s important to our team that our systems help us to do our jobs, so we can be efficient and effective. 

We decided to change our system after a competitive tender exercise. This helped us find software that met our business needs and provided value for money. We have a huge focus today on providing efficient services, where customers needs never fall through the cracks, and keeping all our data safe and secure. We are confident that HomeMaster will support us with this. 

It’s taken us over a year in total to change our system, and it took a massive effort from our project team to cleanse our data and personalise HomeMaster for our business. 

Longer term, we hope HomeMaster will enable us to be more efficient and deliver better services. We’ll look at using its customer portal and contractor portal over the next few months to give our service users more choice.
